I'll make the same agreement as before. If the Leo Group bid has been around for more than the last week then I won't post on here again.

They are definitely a New Bid and it is totally dependent on the land at Odsal being made available. No lease means no deal as they are not too interested in the Bulls even though they have enough financial clout to take the club out of this mess and keep them out.

To be honest, no offence to either of you. I don't no either of you and haven't been on hear that long.

But I dunno who to believe anymore.

Do they want the land for rugby use el? Or some of the land? Can do want they want with the rest as long as there is a stadium for the Bulls

Well if this gets sorted out tomorrow I would imagine as of next Monday a lot of news would roll out ie. Plans for development, investment, 2017 Home and Away Kit releases, announcement of Colton Roache (spelling?) plus I would hope there will be some form of announcement regarding the women's team too!

Chalmers bid accepted by RFL and administrator but rejected by creditors (incl Green?)

New bidder Danny (t/a Leo Group) more interested in ground for redevelopment (energy recycling blah blah blah) than he is in helping Bulls - so obviously RFL wont accept his bid - but then Petit says you have to accept Leo bid or club will go into liquidation (in which case Green gets little money back) - so basically Petit is backing RFL into a corner - saying if you dont accept this new bid the Bulls will no longer play RL at Odsal.
Presumably the administrator and the creditors (incl Green) would agree to the Leo bid because they all get money out of that one - the only loser is RFL if they sign the lease over - then Bulls when Odsal is redeveloped into a big incinerator and we end up being moved to share Wakei's ground with Sheffield.
At this point the RFL could be blocking the new bidder for the right reason (keep RL in Bradford) but they could end up being blamed if we go into liquidation.

Frank - it's your turn. You said your horse was in it from the beginning - so either it was Chalmers (and that bid has been rejected) or you're suggesting Leo's bid has been on the table for a lot longer than a few weeks?

They would have to have a new stadium, either at Odsal or somewhere else in area. The RFL would not allow them to have the lease if it meant no RL club. Frank is right in saying it's very complicated and more importantly the clock is ticking. It's also worth asking the question of would the fans be happy with a previous board member being involved if it meant saving the club, even if the fans didn't trust that person.

One way or the other this story has moved into the final chapter, just need to see if it's a happy ending or not.
