No players have been paid up to now. If this falls as I think it will then the fans need to be prepared to get behind a new club as early as next week. Depending on who picks up the baton then the team may yet still line up facing Hull KR in the first game of the season.
There are questions that need answering about this whole process but they can wait for now. The major priority is that the club continue. I do know the RFL are working their backsides off to resolve this matter that has been poorly handled by the administrators from day one.
I'm sorry it's not as positive as everyone would like but I also wish the club, its management and the administrators had been more honest with the fans and players from the start.
I may be reading things between the lines that are not there, but are you implying the outcome might be a liquidation of the current club, and a very quickly raised phoenix club with people already involved and allowed to continue in the Championship thanks to the rfl?
