TBH, and I don't think I'm alone in thinking this, but the sexual tention between ME and FA is really disrupting the harmony of the board and really the pair of you should just go off somewhere and "work out" your frustrations on each other
Now, back to the matter in hand, it seemed to me that the team was physically and mentally exhausted after Friday and tbh I don't think the easter period does any team any good. A 2 day turnaround between games might be ok for football where it's a less physically demanding game but for RL there needs to be a longer break and I think Easter is where we should be losing a game (ie 1 less game played) for the good of the league

But don't all the teams have the same issue? We had a huge result against leeds and we should have carried that forward...we didn't.
I think the game against Wire will be a watershed for me, win and it'll be 2 wins from 3... looks ok, however...... lose and it's 2 wins from 9 and in anybodies books it that just isn't good enough good.
I really am trying not be negative but it's a reality of the situation we are in.

I agree Northern Lad. The Leeds win was immense but apart from that there's been very little to excite so far.
We simply have to start putting wins together.
Message to McNamara - it's time to $hit or get off the pot.

Don't I get any credit for not rising to the bait?

Personally and as I've put elsewhere, I think this is garbage. The Easter bank holiday weekend fixtures are loved by the crowds, and are bumper revenue for the clubs. Twas always thus and yet until very recently no players would be so soft as to whinge and cry about having to fit in just the one extra 80 minutes. It is pathetic, absolute self-pitying, embarrassing bollox. Yes it is hard, but its not 12 hour shifts down the fscking mine, or winter nights on a trawler off the Grand Banks, or on patrol in Afghanistan, or labouring on an oil rig. So ffs count yourselves very, very lucky and just get on with it!

Code. He has got me this time, I have no answer.

Absolutely 100% spot on. Could not agree more. I am sick of hearing about sports players moaning about fatigue when they do not live in the real world when it comes to work.

What?? What do you mean by that??? "Couldn't agree more" indeed. You just can't help starting arguments can you?
