Why aren't Melbourne re-signing him, since they have only just purchased him?

Not really been a fan of Finch. I suppose he is the only 'decent' half back avaliable to buy though. But with another two years after this in the Super League because of the franchise, do we need to panic buy?

Rather wait another season in the hope someone better may leave a club or come out of contract.

I think the club seriously needs to look at any and every available half-back for next season, we really need some quality, not just someone to fill in.

Mitchell Pearce - When's his contract up, i think he's only about 20 and has looked very good when i've seen him.

Jarrod Mullen - Same.

There's plenty of Half-backs that I would take without question at the bulls and whilst some may come at a price, some may not be that much :

Jarrod Sammut
Ben Roberts
Jerome Ropati
Benji Marshall
Luke Walsh

These are a few quality half-backs just off the top of my head, and there's plenty more, but we need some real quality not just what becomes available.

Ropati is a centre.

But i agree with what your saying. We should wait for someone with quality. I'd like to see Jamie Soward from St George, but i doubt he would come, because he's only very young.

Ropati can play Full back, stand off and centre. This would be good as although he would add quality in the halves, he could add cover for FB and CE. Karmichael Hunt will be here next year though
