Cheers, the other pic I was going to post included my dad holding the Sl trophy, three generations of Bradford fans (but its a worse pic of me if thats possible). Did indeed hear some stories, like how he can prove the attendance for the 100,000+ crowd in 1954 was more than published as he was one of hundreds and hundreds who simply walked in over the boundry fence that had collapsed without paying! He also used to talk about "chipping his share in" when the club reformed - he never would tell us how much he put in though, he always used to reckon it gave him an unquestionable right to critise anyone at the club he didnt approve of (of which there were a few over the years )
The pic was taken on one of his last birthdays, the club went out of their way for us by getting the trophies out for us to have the pictures taken for his birthday (we'd just asked to turn up and see them) and they'd also unknown to us got every single player to sign a picture of the 2006 WCC win and presented it to him as a present, he was well chuffed.
What a great story. Total respect to lifelong fans.
