I wouldn't say it's a total lost cause, as there's
always a chance, and no-one knows how things will work out.
Working through the outside possibilities of us winning shouldn't take too long:
1) There is a players strike at Widnes.
2) Wakefield have made approaches to their best players and it puts them off their game.
3) Ferres and Green have played their joker and, behind the scenes and with no-one else knowing, have signed and registered three decent props who turn up at the warm up and shock us all.
4) Fortune favours us today [or is that all of the earlier chances?]
5) errm....
