I don't blame the ref. As a fan I would have done exactly the same.
Doesn't make it right though.......but at least I am honest about it.

You keep saying get over it, but this discussion was all about the middle 8's and evaluating our chances of beating the teams we will be playing which will most likely involve Leigh.

To decide whether we could beat Leigh, we had to go into why we lost in the first place. Then you came in poking us with a stick about the whole game again so we have given our account for the game for the 100th time.

We're over it.

Quite right, However that's how it started until the digs came in about blaming the referee.

So i came poking with a stick to defend the fact that we were the better side overall.

And when you say - To decide whether we could beat Leigh, we had to go into why we lost in the first place.
On one post it says, there's a guaranteed red card player in the Leigh squad, especially with a bit of niggle put his way.
So if it backfires through indiscipline, You'll be blaming the referee again if you lose.

To me it seems you're obsessed with the referee and it's quite obvious it's still eating away at some people.

I can tell you now, If you want to beat Leigh you'll just have to play better, and if you do then well done. If you go
into the game with the referee in mind and niggley tactics, you'll be on a hiding to nothing. So good luck for the rest of the season.

I don't know how to break this to you, so I'll just go right ahead and say it: it doesn't make any fscking difference WHAT he has in mind because he won't be playing.

The ref for the Leigh vs Bradford game was demonstrably out of his depth. 6 yellow cards and a mass brawl do not point to an official in control of the match but rather a kid with a whistle who is being ignored. Had he clamped down on the underhand tactics in the first half, like a more experienced ref would have, then it would have been a different outcome. But he showed himself to be a paper tiger.

Leigh might have been the side better at playing the ref that day, but they were only better than Bradford by a single try. Hardly an all conquering victory

Are you suggesting that Leigh could have won that game without their own ref ? I'm sure everyone in the ground saw what really happened that day.....it's not like it was subtle.
