Much as they may try to deny it, I strongly suggest that a great shout of, "FORWARD", is likely to cause the ref to glance at his touchie - whether the touchie is influenced or not is another question, but when he sees the ref looking......... Maybe, in games where they are 'wired', this has maybe become obsolete, but there are many more then just pro games of rugby played.

I'm not convinced the touch judges have the attention span to be influenced. Seems to me lately that the touch judge essentially just runs up and down the line in some kind of daydream until a try is scored and he has to watch a goal kick.
