I may be wrong, but i'm sure i read somewhere that any proposed changes are being instigated by the clubs and that the RFL is reluctantly going along with it.
So if we are still in this division then it will be because the clubs voted for the proposed changes and not because we are the RFL's pets. It's been pointed out on here many times, if we are the RFL's pets then what would it be like to be their enemies.

I've heard that we are to be relegated and the fans are to distributed amongst the remaining clubs.

That's what makes it quite funny (and yet a bit pathetic) when we get supporters of other Championship teams on here lecturing us about how we shouldn't be in this league, and deserve to be relegated to Pennine League Division 4

It's YOUR Chairmen who are most likely going to be lobbying and voting to keep us in this division...

I'm expecting a bid for our fanbase from Shuddersfield as soon as our relegation is confirmed.

Luckily, we will know most of their squad too!

Stop introducing inconvenient truths into the argument.

Our current position in this division was down to the RFL though, not that it has benefited us in any way at all.

I can't wait to see us transferred into SL (the Redeveready plan) and I'll just direct the complainants to the SL club chairman that voted for it.

Fr13daY I too am expecting Fax attendances to rise rapidly soon. In our heyday the chant from the hill dwellers was "Half of you are Halifax!" So by that reckoning about 6k. Seems they've yet to find their way to the Shay. Maybe the 576 has got lost en route?

Think I read somewhere that the Bulls been in the championship is worth 40k to a team like Swinton. Plus another 40k from KR. Can Swinton and others survive another year without that 80k.

Well clearly there's plenty of clubs who either can't or won't go a season without a Bulls payday which is why we were forced to start in this league on -12 with 3 games against HKR and virtually no central funding.

The smart thing to have done would be a fan boycott of away games

We're halfway there. We've stopped going to home games.
