Tell you what there will still be fans there next season. Some people are completely blinded by whats in front of the and what the RFL have done.
I'll be there and I am far from blinded. And I'll criticise like I do now because I'm sick of the sycophants too. They need telling when they've been sheeite...
But I want to be there when the tide turns or when the whole damn thing comes toppling down. I can't tell you why, I don't know myself, but I'll be there to cheer the phoenix or P155 on the ashes either way.
We are down next year unless the RFL restructure, but its all about what happens next isn't it? We have limped on this year and had an excuse for been so poor, Hopefully all will be revealed in the next few weeks.
I for one wouldn't mind C1 as long as we plan on doing a Toronto, it beats this years drivel. However we HAVE to come straight back up or pro RL in Bradford is finished.
As ChaLo wanted to start their ownership in Ch1 perhaps we will now see what their master plan is.
I wouldn't exactly cont as ChaLo's biggest fan, but serously don't think it's reasonable to accuse anyone of lack of masterplan when pitched into the Championship with 6 days or so to kickoff without a single pair of boots or even a pen, let alone a single player.
Whatever has been decided re the leages (if it has) then most certainly nothing would ne officially announced during this season, as to suddenly announce now that there will be no relegation wouldn't really be that great box office for the remaining games of several clubs.
I'm not that bothered thinking about it whether we start again in C1 or whether we get a "reprieve" and are made to play Championship again, although if the latter, we will do well to avoid the bottom 4 as we are a long way off, and cannot seemingly afford to buy the pack you need at this level; I would also say adios to almost any loan deals, since nice though it has been to see Oledzki, the fact is, (as 2017 has proved) it doesn't really work. How much worse could it have been without a single loanee?
If we survive and enter C1 then one thing we won't be is a Toronto, the comparison would be Harrods v Trotters Independent Trading. ChaLo have never made any secret of the fact that they don't have pots of cash to put in.
Maybe we should elect a few people to Parliament as the Bulls Party, and tap Theresa up for the odd billion to buy our votes.
My jury remains out as to whether with no money it is even possible to properly rebuild, or even stave off yet another financial austerity crisis. I'm left with that "What a wasted fscking year" feeling.

What makes it easier to get promoted from L1 is there is no contrived system that handicaps the team trying to get out of their devision. We don't have to form a squad capable of beating opposition in the league above us. We only have to get a team capable of being the best in the league we will be in.

I only meant that when they took over they must have had a plan they were going to follow to make us successful again unless they just bought us on a whim or at the request of a third party. I fully appreciate that the RFL threw everything up in the air by insisting we start in the Championship.

Agree, wasn't aiming it at people who will be there through love of the club and wanting to hopefully see the rebuild. It's the ones who cant see the wood for the trees that will never change. Slating people who dare question the club or a player. Slating for someone for giving someone a bit of praise too! Really hoping my self my son will be old enough to sit and watch so I can get us season tickets as I want to be there too but may be a year too early for him, as I think next season is what this season should have been and the start of the rebuild

I really don't think they did. As the RFL took until the week before kickoff to make a decision, and as apart from the name, (and AC's outsider knowledge of Bradford through having been involved in the game with Salford) they were effectively buying the business a bit like those guys that buy lockup storage sheds - no clue what's inside. Not sure to what extent you could plan anything in those circumstances. Well, let's be frank, you can't.

There lies the rub for me, there was a significant amount of goodwill for the 'Phoenix' Bulls at the start of the season, witness the amount of support at Huddersfield for a meaningless friendly, which continued as we made a promising start to the season, but frittered away over the last 3-4 months. Some of those supporters wont be back, whereas if we had started in L1, had a fair season with a much higher league position, most of the goodwill would have been retained IMHO.

Yeah cheers for that Nige and Rimmer (a fitting name)..
