Is he under contract with us? If so then he's our player until Hull stump up (if a transfer fee is what we want?)

We get a fee for him being in our academy about 30k if no one apparently wants to pay he can either re-sign or take a year out of the game, so far Hull have offered a pre season game as there favoured method of payment we want cash or a player apparently

Good that the club are playing hard ball with this. If Hull FC want him they will have to cough up the cash or a player.

Completely agree and I would like to see more championship / L1 sides get a decent price for a player. Out of contracts aside.

No more silly clauses allowing players to leave for free if a super league side comes in

Scurr is out of contract.The general principle in the UK is that individuals should be able to follow their trade and use their skills without undue restriction imposed on them by others.

That's all very well and good provided the compensation from the club is equal to or exceeds the £30k we get if he doesn't sign. If they want him they'll have to cough up.

Saying that. The GIF is of the Doc and Marty and someone rightly pointed out that Doc’s catchphrase is GREAT SCOTT so is it the heavily linked Sam Scott from York?
