Pleased with this appointment, embodies the passion for the club that has been missing under recent coaches, and that's not a knock on them at all. Weather he has the experience to rebuild the squad depends on the funds he's given, life is certainly gonna get interesting for us, on the pitch for a change

Oh dear. Marc Green blows hard, I'll give him that much.

Good luck to Lowes anyway. If he turns out to be a decent coach after all, at least you've nicked him back from Union. Just advise him not to stand in the dugouts near the opposition fans.

Welcome back Jimmy. Not convinced its right appointment but time will tell. Will certainly bring some passion to job and give shirkers short shrift.
Notice there's no mention of an assistant. Are we going to appoint one or save money this season and appoint in off season?. We certainly need one of not two to support Lowes.

Not my first choice, Id have gone with Kear or Morrison. But, Welcome home Mr Lowes. Jimmy will have my full support, he clearly loves the club and lets hope hes learnt the lessons from his various coaching positions in the past, and that he appoints good assitants.

Whoever was appointed though, they will live and die by the resources and stability provided (or not) by Green/Ferres/Paul. If we back Jimmy with a good off season of recuitment and retention then there is no reason why we cant be competitive next year in the Championship and build some momentum, but we need to start the rebuilding for that now, we need to be building a squad for Championship promotion, if Fev can look to sign players of the calibre of Leon, sammut and Pitts, then we need to be beating them to players like that to offer us some hope for next year.
