If there was a market for it I'd put a quid on lamb and Irvine getting control by next week.

All the other talk of players, coaches, points deductions, leagues etc, whilst obvious points for discussions are all pretty irrelevant to me at the mo. We have no players, no ground and no league, and we won't have any meaningful discussion about any of that until we get some new owners of some sort of new Bradford rl club. That's the only news that counts for me at the mo, who will take it on? And in what form? -as that will be the first indicator for me as to if I want to commit to another go on the roller-coaster or I tap out with the old club I followed.
And for that I'm back in waiting for announcement mode......#sigh#

Saints , Wigan and Leeds can retain their products , Bradford couldn't retain them when they were in SL , they certainly won't be able to retain them in the Championship or C1

Seriously an academy is pointless outside SL to any club , especially one that is essentially ' potless '

that is nuts, with respect. How does eking out "short term survival" ever achieve anything? Why would a team that "short term survived" (how??) for a season or two suddenly become more able to look to the longer term future? If it doesn't work from Day 1 it sure won't get any better on Day 2.

I think what Danny was saying is maybe we concentrate all available funding it to making sure we survive in the championship this season. A £100,00 on the academy may be better spend on trying to survive in the championship and then build from there. I'm the biggest advocate of the academy But we've put hundreds of thousands of pounds into the juniors only for other clubs to now benefit. Also i don't think we'll be able to field an academy this year. You've also got to remember it will now take years to gain back the trust of parents when trying to sign junior players. I'd like to see a few academy players as part of our squad though. Hopefully some will. First we need a squad and then see what's left over.

Lamb doesn't flll me with any confidence but one man that does is Damian Irvine. The Cronulla fans worship him and many appointed their GF victory to what he did in their bad times.

Right after reading what feels like 100s and 100s of posts, there's something I'm not quite clear on....

what EXACTLY has been liquidated? Is it the holding company AND the club (since the club - with its name, logo, branding etc is a separate distinguishable entity) or is it just the holding company?

Are we now awaiting the creation of a brand new club, with a new name, logo and branding - or are we just waiting for a new holding company to come along and continue with the existing club name, logo and branding?

FA I'm starting to understand you and feel sorry for how you feel genuinely, however the vision you have isn't realistic, times have sadly changed for the Bulls. They are no more and the new club will be different, most team have ditched youth set ups other than the "big" team as developing players at a cost who leave is a wasted overhead.

GUBRATS makes this point correctly. Support the new club back what they are and lesson your expectations. 3 years without admin would be a great start with at team still to support.
