Well done vbfg. We all feel angry and lied to but Ateotd, we still need to stand up and be counted when our club needs us the most.

Yorkshire post article pretty good reporting:

http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/have-your-say-we-made-mistakes-admit-bulls-after-1m-rescue-bid-1-4391031 tax liability has unexpectedly arisen from IH settlement image rights.

so putting all the part information together, there was enough cash for the season without any image rights liability and with the overdraft at the existing level. The timing looks as if both of these have to be paid before the players next get paid, hence the dates given.

What concerns me most is that it appears that there is no cash flow forecast being done by the Bulls. maybe they cant afford to pay someone to do it. if they did have one, then they would have to know when the RFL wanted their loan back so it could be plugged into the forecast, and anyone doing it would be aware of issues such as security and the consequences of not having any for the overdraft.

When my club didn't exist it was still bigger than yours

So you submitted in the end, then?

Aye, heart over head maybe but I can't sit back and watch the club die. I honestly do not see any way back from this. I accept all the arguments from the Wakefield fans and agree wholeheartedly with what they had to say. Administration might be the better option, but that is contingent on having somewhere to play. Both options are gambles, but going into admin and hoping for a sugar daddy who hasn't arrived despite many opportunities to do so seems like the bigger gamble to me right now.

If we had a stadium with low running costs then maybe, but if this club goes under now it ain't coming back.

Let's try and fix that if we can and figure out where we are.

Admirable idea.

Do you think once their investment is secure with their free gift of £500k the board will accept lobbying for change?

I don't. I am developing a real haterd of the people who are putting the fans of your club in this position. If, as many who appear in the know are suggesting, there is no alternative to this, it seems all the more cynical that this board has engineered a situation where you're all left with no clear way to keep your club than to bail them out with an obligation-free donation.

They deserve to lose out on their investments, you lot don't deserve to lose your club. Bad situation. I feel for you.

Indeed, they have a gun to our head in essence, but we cannot let our club die.

I think the point I was making was, the ONLY thing that matters right now is saving the club.

Going to pledge now, wasn't certain at first but the last few posts have made up my mind

I've also advised my brother who was asking for guidance plus a lad at work who said his Grandad lived breathed Bradford, Northern, Bulls, Red Amber and Black, the Top house....everything

Well done to everyone who has made any efforts to help and thanks for the support from other fans, it will be remembered!

Like this as a way forward. If people can afford it, maybe pledge to the club but also support whatever supporters group is formed, whether this is Bullbuilder or a supporters group

There are murmurs, but albeit just murmurs at this stage, that Parkin may be sniffing.

UNITED BY PRIDE, DRIVEN BY PASSION & BOUND BY LOYALTY

I feel so sorry for you guys.

I appreciate that you'll obviously do anything (an quite understandably) needed to secure the future of your club.

HOWEVER, from the outside looking in somethings not right, how can Hood have 'not known' the overdraft was secured on odsal? What happens if you reach the pledge but people don't pay? What happens if people do pay and you don't have enough? Does the £100 get you any shares? or is it just begging for donations? What happends when that lump sum runs out?? it's a ludacras situation.

The only way forward I can see is administration and rebuild like London and Crusaders; granted you'll loose a few players but it seems the only way to secure the longevity of the club.

GOOD LUCK GUYS
