What I am more interested in finding out is why it took till half-way through a dismal campaign before this "building for the future" slant became the gospel at Odsal.
After all, there was a fans forum at the start of the season that was surely a better time to make this aim quite clear but I cannot remember reading a great deal about it then?
The cynics amongst us might well suggest that it is just a wee diversionary tactic used in order to try to take the heat off the first team performances.
