I walked to the ground fom the Uni. I was heartened by the small mixed groups of friends wearing rival colours. A shame that when some fans get into the ground they lose tht mutual respect.

I'm glad you agree, because there'll be some he fooled but most importantly not Bentham.

I cheered when he sprung back to his feet in seconds after clutching his face ran back to his team (who he was preventing them taking a quick tap 20) and had a passing shot to Kylie Leuluai.

I will not be ousted from the game with clever remarks like that. In fact a number of you can chase me out with torches and pitchforks after all it wouldn’t surprise me that a few of you have them after witnessing such vile offerings at Headingley on Friday night.

Songs such as “we hate scum” and “wash your mouth my son” belong in the gutter! :P

What planet are you on?

A passing shot? He tapped him on the booty as he went past. The way you make out, he levelled him with his forearm.

He took an accidental elbow in the face, shook it off and went back to the line, giving a friendly tap to Leuluai on the way. It was absolutely nothing.

Incidentally, regarding the Webb incident.

I believe part of the reasoning for the "cheers" or lack of respectful applause is that there is still animosity against Webb for the game a couple of years ago when he seemed intent on decapitating at least one of the Bulls players (if I rememeber right, he ended up in the bin twice).

While that doesn't condone cheering a player getting injured, it's usually a mentality of "what goes around, comes around" that causes it. Much the same that if Terry Newton ever gets hurt at Knowsley Road, I'm sure we won't be hearing any respectful applause towards him.

That being said, I won't ever condone being happy that a player gets hurt and will never ever cheer it.

Fourtunatly sum older people defused the situation, shouldn't see this in rugby league, the bulls fans involved in the punching are scum

Was this the 2213 Headingley to Leeds ????

If so I was on this train and I saw no trouble, bet then again I was on the phone for the six minute journey.

What I did see on the 2308 Leeds to Bradford was British transport police arrest two young Bulls fans for swearing and just being wankers.

Shouting at Rhino fans in Leeds station is not on.
