who has concrete evidence of what the ex directors did or didnt put in, dz999? There were statements at the time that they had paid the funds in the forecasts put before the RFL to approve, and subsequent statements from them that they were not going to put any more in. RD's comment ignores all of this.

If I, myself, put hundreds of thousands of pounds of my own money into the club, together with my 2 mates, I would put up a bit of a fight before walking away.

I'd rather look at it from another angle. The new (now old I suppose) directors are all successful business men. Would they have put in loads of money without actually owning the club?

IMO, they were after the free ride!

So OK is intending to fund and run the Bulls as a going concern?

Glad he is over the illness that made him step down in the first place, by the way.

Omar Khan will not be coming back and taking on the day-to-day running the club.

They'll be one or two familiar faces (not Ryan Whitcut) along with the newly sourced investors taking pertinent positions on the new board.

The unfortunate timing of today's news means that a statement offering calcification won't enter the Public Domain until Friday at the earliest.

Is this all a bluff? Why did the RLF want Whitcut (Omar`s Stooge) out of the equation?
Omar is now stuck with something he wanted to step away from. If he wants to get his money back he will have to appoint people with better financial ability than his last lot, at least hopefully Whicut is out of the picture. What can the guy do? He`s pushed into a corner. The only way he can retrieve his money is to make it work with people who know what to do. If the club goes under he`s lost. Surely he`s not so daft. Maybe hopefully things will be sorted.

""We have all personally invested a substantial amount of money into OK Bulls and have worked tirelessly to turn the club around, with a focus of making it self-sustainable."

Taken from the press release. It sounds to me that there was money invested, but, into the club not OKs pocket.... It is going to be an interesting few days.

I don't think the new directors will currently be funding these wages. the club will have income from the season ticket sales. Its a few months down the line, when the funding from season tickets is gone that the club will be brought to its knees.

I would have had some sympathy if the directors actually parted with their own cash, but this clearly isn't the case as they all found it pretty easy to leave.

I believe that the directors did part with substantial amounts of money. Perhaps the reason they found it easy to leave is because they were being asked to bankroll the club while OK kept control of the shares.

What is evident from this thread is that you fans are being totally kept in the dark. The diametrically opposed views all depend on whose spin you believe. I think you need a public forum with ALL the interested parties open to questions. What a bloody shambles! Good Luck.
