Let's be honest Leeds won at a canter. They started fast, got the game won in the first 15 minutes, then basically coasted through the next 40 minutes, and turned on the class for a few tries at the end. It was like a practice game for them.
As for us - no passion, no fire, no fight. We make little attempt to get off the line in defence and just wait for the attackers to come to us, meaning its easy for the opposition to make yardage with every set. Then we are so slow around the play the ball, that the opposition are in our faces. Everyone complains about the other team being offside, but its not that - its just that we are so slow to get the ball moving they have ample time to move up.
Really, if it hadn't been for the interception, I don't think we'd have scored - albeit Gaskell showed a fair turn of pace.
And now it looks like Donaldson could be crocked, just when you think it can't get worse....
