Although there was one poster that seems to think the agenda of the Bulls and the RFL is the same (RFL want to give points back to send Wakey down)
He has this absolutely right. It is all a master plan going back many months. The cleverest bit was, to deflect any suspicion or enquiry, to dock the Bulls the full 6 points in the first place. I was personally a party to all the secret meetings, so I know what went on. It all started with a secret meeting in a cellar at the Slaughtered Lamb, where we all cursed Wakefield, and then cut our hands and sealed Wakey's fate with bloody handshakes.
If you are interested, I was the only voice at the table who pointed out that if they wanted Wakey down not us, then it would be easier to just not dock the Bulls any points to start with. But Nigel said that such a simple device was nowhere near enough Machiavellian.
I know you may find all this hard to believe, but you will see I am right as the coup de grace will be the announcement that as well as the 6 points back, the Bulls will also be getting "interest" on the 6, amounting to 20 bonus points, for our trouble, to put us in the playoffs and annoy the Hull clubs for saying nasty things about the RFL.
