Are you suggesting that Leigh could have won that game without their own ref ? I'm sure everyone in the ground saw what really happened that day.....it's not like it was subtle.
You forget, this is Leigh we are talking about... With their unique 'famileigh' they have, they are the nicest bunch of players and staff in rugby! Not to mention professional! We might aswell promote them now and give them the SL title, they've beaten London twice they must be the best! Just make sure a certain carrot top referee controls their game they'll have no problem!

And Wigan and Bradford and Fev and Fax...................
Wigan was a friendly. So well done you beat a team full of reserves and the occasional full timer brought on for 5 minutes. Bet your fans sucked that dry for all its plaudits by now!

Sorry Pal, But Wigan only had 3 first teamers missing and We didn't have Martin Ridyard playing either.
That would have been in their squad of 26? 28? Most of the squad will be in 'the team' for pre-season games, but it doesn't mean they actually put many minutes in on the paddock.

No your right it doesn't. But they did. And don't forget that we rotated as well. And we still won.
Which bit of, 'it was just a practice match', are you struggling with?

Seriously is this still going on! What Leigh/Bradford did in pre-season and do between now and the split has absolutely zilch to do with what happens in the middle eights.
I think what happened in that first game has been done to death! The referee was clearly out of his depth. But when the middle 8's get under way the games won't be so out of control (you would hope)
We lost that game as we weren't good enough in the second half. While the ref was poor, those thinking we only have to turn up against Leigh with a competent ref are kidding themselves.
Equally the Leigh fans who think they'll get promoted because they beat Wigan in a friendly and beat Bradford in an out of control game are equally kidding themselves.
Bradford and Leigh have the potential to get promoted and beat each other. It will simply come down to who performs better on the day. Using examples of when their team played well and when the opposition played badly are irrelevant.
