Obviously he's gonna 'stand by his son' but he doesn't want to play for us anymore, happens to most clubs I guess. Everything seemed fine with him last Sunday, then on Monday he 'gives' 4 weeks notice.
Don't know why we suspended him, if he can leave in a few weeks, then "thanks/bye" everybody moves on. But NO, Derek B has to take action, and it's a "war of words". Good luck to the lad, he would have been a free agent in the summer anyway, don't know what the 'big rush' to leave is....(apart from a Super League club making HIM an offer).

I meant 'long term' offer. No offence, you're a BIG club, but he's probably has been offered a deal from a Super League club....

I have no doubt about that whatsoever. It's just that our silence seems to be both deafening and not particularly relevant to anything you say is going on. We are not a SL club.

Maybe the Club were a surprised as everyone else by the pronouncement's by Brierley and Beaumont. Keeping their powder dry to see how it pans out. Saying nothing could be because there is nothing to say at present!
