'Great defence, always wins games, y'only have to score one more point than them. If tha does, tha'll win, if that doesn't tha'll lose, learn from it, more than the win last week.'. Peter Fox, 1980.
Will this side also play in the new Odsal superdome?
Have people been on the wacky baccy or something?
Not this year, just been watching and listening. Again I do not know that this is happening, it has been discussed for some time now in the area, (Manchester area RL) and the silence that is happening now, only adds to my thought process. It might not happen immediately this year, as obviously players, coaches, administrators etc, would have to move job and potentially house, but I suspect there is something in it.
Everyone in SL and the Championship quietly agree that the SL needs a Bradford club, because you have wonderful support that brings in LOTS of money to the other clubs. It would NOT be fair to everyone else if the current club (team including coaching staff) were simply given a SL spot, and obviously they would not cope. If they merge and take another club with them, keep the majority of that club's first team (4th in SL) keep Tong and John Bastian, to enable a building for the future, it would help everyone in both the SL and lower divisions.
The fact that Leigh are struggling even with their money man and that the Bulls have signed such as Sam Hallas, when 'relegation' was pretty much guaranteed, say to me that a. the Bulls would not reach SL by developing organically and b. Gary Hetherington and McDermott are trying to help Bradford They would NOT advise Hallas to move to a us if they were not hopeful of a Bulls regeneration. They would not loan their young guns, IF they were not keen in keeping Bulls up. (albeit they failed). Leeds have most to gain from a Bradford club in Sl. 25K crowds being the main one.
Can someone tell me how to put a photo on my profile please: tried the avatar thingy, but too big a file. ta

If Jas was given assurances that this latest Bulls adventure would not fail, from the powers that be, would people feel any better about the future
Not really, seeing as we've been fed so many lies over last 5 years. don't think fanbase trust anything they are told anymore. As we aren't being told anything at all its hard to muster any enthusiasm for future at moment.

All very true mat, but if that forum that they keep mentioning, y'know, as if it's really going to happen sometime, were to come to pass, then, on the appointed day, I guess, fool that I am, that I'd STILL be there and STILL hoping some of it, just a little tiny bit of it, might actually be true...

Well when our beloved Bulls team disappears into oblivion we could all start supporting the new kids on the block Manchester Rangers; because there is no way I could support a current SL/Champ/L1 side - it would be just wrong.
I don't have a clue what is going on, i think odsal will be sold, something will be built on Richard Dunne, a new sports centre will be built down the road out of the funds Bradford council receive for selling Odsal.
I have no idea about the rumours mentioned about Koukash moving/merging but there are a couple of obstacles that haven't been mentioned.
It is at least another 3 years before he has a break clause in the lease at the AJ Bell and he currently owes Salford Council over £1m, which they have been quietly allowing him to defer payment on for the last 4 years.
I can only guess that if he moves out of the city, they will actively be seeking alot of money.
