Interesting. If, and its a 10 foot high if with spots on, if thats true it rasies a couple of interesting points. He must be acknowledging he has wronged the club in some way and feels the need to make it right preferably out of court, and he was getting paid (so many experts knew he had'nt been paid... FACT) and he probably wants the situation cleared before he plays tomorrow.
IF, it is true, I'd take it, I'm pretty sure he used our contract offer in order to get more from Wire last summer, and felt he was stuck with us when wire didn't budge. I'd also guess he probably did honestly intend to make the best of it with us, but then with the admin and the loophole appearing he and his agent took the opportunity to get out to a destination he would probably have chosen over us had it been an option for him last summer.
From this point us and him are better off without each other and if this is a genuine offer we should take it, dress it up however the club want to, as a win for a tough stance or whatever, but move on, we have bigger concerns frankly than a player who's already gone.
That's a pretty good point.I too would ask him to pay the money back without a doubt. He is admitting he's done wrong, why else would he make the offer?. I cannot understand why such a good player would act like this twice in his career. We know his personal situation with his son,the man probably goes through more everyday than most of us could ever think of.We are talking about purely rugby and there is no doubt in my mind he is completely in the wrong
Easy way to avoid this, don't go into admin then he can't go. If we didn't go into admin Carvell would still be a bulls player.
The administration issue was to resolve the ownership dispute between Newco and OK. All the players knew about this and it wasn't about non payment of Bulls. The fact is that the RFL went back on their word and imposed a 28 day time limit on accepting further offers. For those with slightly longer memories than the proverbial goldfish they may remember that when Newco found the big hole in the budget they said that they would not stand in anybody's way if they could wanted to leave. That meant that Mr Carvell could have left with their blessing had Hull come forward at the time and made a nominal offer for him or had Mr Clarke (spit!!) got him another contract. The situation now is that Hull want him for nothing and are prepared to let 'Carvs' fight it out in court as they suspect that Newco can't afford to take legal recourse.
I was doing a decorating job at Gaz's grandma's sister's house today. Whilst there we got chatting about this current topic . Her grandson overheard us and from what I could gather from his input is that he knows about as much as most of the speculators on here ... Absolutely fork all .
Mystic Eddie... What a twillock... You just earned yourself a seat on the same bench as Mr Clarke and his rugby gods .
And finally .. For all the Wildcat fans trolling on here... I spoke to a member of your squad today and I can state categorically that he is interested in playing another code of football . I was quite surprised .

I'd agree with that. If he truly did offer his wages back to Bradford, so that everyone can just pretend he never turned up in the first place, then I'd accept it and move on.
I personally can't see evidence of this on his Twitter though, which was where is supposedly came from wasn't it?

apparently, but I dont do twitter, so I have no idea. Which is why my IF is 10 foot tall! Its yet another detail that no-one except the people involved first hand really know what happened, or is happening.
I've had enough of Mr Car and the ownership nonsence, so its Friday, and I'm going to try and just focus on the fact that we have the season opener on Sunday, COYB!

It was indeed on his Twitter. I saw it. Has he deleted it, then?
