So unless the other 41 member clubs vote for drastic change at the restructure and shaping the future meeting next month, the bottom two sides of the Championship (regardless of who) will be relegated.
There's 16 games left to play - 32 points. The average points over the last two seasons to see the third place side survive is 17.5points. So 18 points to survive - 10 wins/20 points.
That could still happen but you would need a majority out of those 41 clubs to vote through any change for this season.
Money talks and Bradford at home is, currently, a nice little earner for most clubs, especially given the Toulouse, Toronto, London trinity of no away support that's looking likely next year. Three home games with Naff all income from away support?
Wonder how many will be doing their sums right now, before it's too late. The RFL just stumble from one bout of stupidity to another.
10 wins out of 16? At the moment no bloody chance. Without Pryce at least semi fit and without Moore we're seriously lacking experience. We had 6 props in the 17 on Sunday and it didn't make a difference. We missed direction from senior players and were shot out wide due to us being forced to play Ryan and Halafihi out of position. The happy faces the players had prior to Easter have gone. We can't defend our line and look disjointed in attack, confidence is shot.
Meanwhile Chalmers says nothing. The chairman offers no solutions. Graham Lowe writes about anything but the Bulls FFS.
I think it's easy to call from here.
Possible conspiracy theories I've heard:
1. Leave us in Championship no P&R this year. (of these unlikely scenarios this is least unlikely happening). 2. Promote us to a new 16 team SL with same fixtures plan as NRL (Adding us, HKR, Toronto and Toulouse). 3. Leave us where we are but still have a 16 team SL with London, HKR, Toronto and Toulouse). 4. Merge us with Salford and call us the Manchester Bradford Red Bulls.
However much as I'd like to think otherwise I think we're down and playing in Championship 1 next year with a part time team.
I've had a couple of days to think about things since the god awful crap I witnessed on Sunday, and the more I think about it, the more I come down to this particular bit of info that Bullseye has just said...

I am f***ing pig sick of them staying silent and absolutely nothing being said about the state of affairs. I gave them a few months, I had patience, I appreciated other things were taking precedence. My patience has now worn thin. If Lowe has time to tell us about his bloody tea in Auckland, he has time to tell us where we stand.
I'm not blaming the players, even though they look like they can't be bothered at times. I'm not blaming the coaches who are no doubt doing what they can with limited resources. I'm sure they're feeling as frustrated and annoyed at the total lack of direction and communication as the fans are.
Until I see one of these owners, or the RFL, or whoever the chuff is in charge of us come out and say what the bloody hell is going on, I'm out. This isn't me being upset at losing, this isn't me being upset about maybe being relegated. It's the fact I am pig sick of these "owners" taking the fans for granted and not even being willing to just come out and explain why jack sheet is happening. JUST TELL US. We're not asking for miracles, we're not asking you to sign Johnathan Thurston, we just want some idea of what is going on. And until you stop taking us for granted, I am no longer a customer. I shall watch from the TV and listen from the radio, however I shall not spend another pound at that club until we get some degree of answers, even if those answers are just an honest "We haven't got a pot to urinate in and we're right up sheet creek with no paddle".

I could go along with option 4 provided they changed that name to the Manchester Bradford Red, Amber and Black Bulls, though I'd confess to being a teensy bit peeved if they then moved us to a development area in Estonia, or similar.
is there not 12 in SL, 12 in Championship and 16 in League 1 ? that's 40 clubs? correct my if I am wrong...
so when it comes to restructure I would say everyone hates the current format if you are a top SL team or at the bottom of the pile... So something will have to change.
most championship clubs would vote to keep the bulls payday as it would be roughly £32k a year for them, (2000 at £16)
Plus Toronto would also vote for franchise I would say, all of a sudden it seems like it could happen at the meeting next month.
is it the masterplan unravelling or just wishful thinking?

Rant over.
What paddle we have has been assigned to us by the RFL, as supposedly offering us the best chance of survival...but you can't do anything when the boat's got a hole in it!
