For us to make 4th we need to do something, before today, we've not done yet this year. win back to back games.

Our next 2 games are Celtic and Salford. I think both of those are win-able
however, we've come unstuck in recent years at Salford. But we've looked good for our last 2 wins. If we can keep building I'd say we're dark horses for a return to OT

Bradford gave us Hockney, Leeds gave us Moyles.

Important to win the next two games for many reasons, one of which is that we would reach the almost-halfway stage of 13 games on 13 points - almost the equivalent as 'as you were'. This would then mean that however the rest of the season went, our final total would reflect that - win more than half our games from then on and we finish in the top half, most likely.

Predictions are difficult, now that we know there are no unwinnable games and no unloseable ones either.

I think we will win our next three or so, but we have some tough games lined up after:

Warrington
Saints
Leeds
Castleford
Hull KR
Wigan

I'm thinking the Quins game may be thrown in there aswell, depending on cup fixtures.

We could potentially win all of those, but as standards are improving we will have to maintain and improve on our form from the last couple of games.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

One important fact is we haven't won more than 4 games on the trot since 2005.

Yes I was thinking along those lines, but I'll keep the faith. I will be bitterly disappointed if we lose either of our next two, but I hope and believe that we can build on our performances, get the confidence back and hopefully go on a run into the top 8.

To have any real chance it's the top 4 that you need.

so now weve hit the two on the bounce target maybe winning five in a row should be next target
one small step at a time rather than worrying about where we finish.

not sure theres a massive difference between 3-4 and 5-6 anymore. 3-4 means an away game first but with a 2nd chance at home. 5-6 means a home game that you have to win followed by an away game against a team thats lost the previous week, Always prefer to play every week as you can get a roll on without losing momentum/focus which can happen with bye weeks.

Yes, but it's also good to have a rest.
