Platt was offered, and accepted, better terms than Halley.
Platt had done nothing to suggest he was worth a 3 year deal, and it is bizarre that he was offered one, on the plus side it seems that McNamara has finally come to his senses and realised he shouldn't be first choice at full back but, to be honest, I don't think he's been any worse this year than he was last.
