Re: Huddersfield at home : Thu Sep 05, 2013 6:38 pm
I like Huddersfield, and I've been many times when there isn't a fixture clash. But there does seem to be some "unfinished business" element to the fixture according to Fartown fans. Even though the win they deemed worthy of putting on a t-shirt was a few years ago, with victories since, there's still a feeling that they look up to us -- I'm willing to concede this is the wrong phrase -- but something among the fans screams "I really hope we beat Bradford", even though they've been consistently better than us for about 3-4 seasons. Everything from hoping they stuff us to out singing us and everything in between. I don't mind as long as it stays amicable and doesn't descend into what some of the other derbies have and become very bitter and troublesome.Do any Giants fans see this (and Bradford at any time) as just another game? Because, to me, it's certainly not the view of those who shout the loudest online.
