I don't think it's that far-fetched to broadly agree on when a shirt is either good or bad. Instead we are annually polarized which isn't the case at all clubs. If you were a saints fan it appears that they are inexplicably perfectly happy to spend £50 replacing their white shirt with red vee, with a white shirt with red vee.
What is the last shirt where we virtually all liked it? Vaux hoop one?
To be honest, I think it was the home shirt from four/five? [time passes me by all too quickly..]years back which was basically white and featured three hoops of RA&B [in that order] and was more or less a direct descendent of our traditional [as in Foxy era] shirt.
Put out the same design two years running though and you cut your sales by probably 50% [at least], 'cos many, if not most, are not going to buy an identical shirt to the perfectly serviceable one they have hanging in the wardrobe. Saints don't put out the same design, btw. For sure they incorporate a red V somewhere on the shirt but they move it around and re-size it sufficiently to enable their own fans to know who has the new one and who hasn't, even if the logos don't change.
