Indeed.

It's difficult to dismiss that Caro scored 20 tries in 22 appearances for HKR, so we have to assume there are 'issues' somewhere. I strongly suspect the no half back scenario is down to availability

Well I've just watched a few highlight packages on YouTube. Admittedly, these only show his positive qualities. But those are qualities that a lot on here have been wanting from our backs. He's fast, he's strong in the tackle and can break through the collision, he's dangerous from broken play and he backs up the ball carrier. I guess we'll see if he can turn out some star performances for Bradford in the coming weeks

Does anyone know what he's been doing since Rovers released him?
I suppose we might as well use the remaining league games to get his match fitness up to scratch, since they are now essentially meaningless.

Says in t&a he's been playing union and is apparently in good shape. Wouldn't call the next games meaningless at all! Granted, I think top spot is now Leigh's. But if we can go in to the middle 8's with 3 victories, thay will give us some real momentum and confidence. Losing 2 would be disastrous.

If we go all out to win these games, and end up picking up some fresh injuries or suspensions along the way, then I will be furious. They mean nothing. We can win all three or lose all three and we'll be in exactly the same position when the super 8s start and everyone is back on zero points.

They may mean nothing,but your not going to rest all your players for the next 3 games or send them on holiday. Isn't that why they use rotation?

If you play a game of rugby half heartedly, you are more likely to get injured! As professional rugby players you would expect them to play to their full potential and I think that will be the case.

You can't be furious if we get injuries as that's down to luck and part of the game. Suspensions is another matter and they would be stupid to show ill discipline at this time of year with the important games around the corner.

You can be furious if a player gets injured in an off the ball incident because some dirty get elbowed him in the face

I would be even more annoyed if that player got targeted in a meaningless (to us) game and sustained further injury. The next 3 matches are about the performance and perhaps the results will follow.
As for Caro the jury is out for me. I will be interested to see if he can add anything.

If we go into the middle 8' having beaten Sheffield Leigh and Halifax that will give us some huge momentum and confidence. The fans will be bouncing, the players will feel like they can beat anyone.

If we go into the middle 8's losing to fax and Leigh for example, the fans players and everyone will be deflated. You only have to look at Wakefield to show what confidence does. More or less the same squad that were getting humiliated every week. Now they've some confidence, the fans are right behind them and they are going to be difficult to beat in the middles.

Also if we rest Gaskell, O'brien, Clough etc for the next 3 game, how match sharp do you think they'll be come that first game after a month off. We'll be hammered early on as we'll be getting match sharpness back, against a team who is already match sharp. Rusty would be an understatement
