I've heard at least 3 names mentioned. All of which would improve our current side. But I feel it's too late. Had these players come in earlier, we might have had a chance. But an 11 point deficit is too much to make up when you consider the teams we're trying to catch will have to play each other again and we have the best team in the competition this weekend.

The deduction is, in many ways a 'mental thing', we know that from so many interviews with players, and to suggest that our playing record would have been exactly the same, had we had our points on the board, is quite wrong, imo. We could have saved the drop, relatively easily, by keeping either the players or the points, losing both though was too much.
You could equally argue that had they not had the -12, the siege mentality would have never happened, they'd have thought it was easy to avoid relegation, got complacent, and picked up even less points. If my aunt had balls, and all that. It's impossible to know really, so I prefer to base it on the only facts that are available, and that's how those same players performed when it happened with the deduction.
