I'll probably have a junior ticket to sell by the way, as it appears a member of our travelling party has dropped out and was never really interested in going in the first place.

Rubbish, if it was in the interests of supporters who were preparing to travel then it'd be still on.

Stupid decision IMO.

Sorry mate but you`ve got that wrong imo. I can`t think for a second that Quins would have any advantage in postponing a game if it wasn`t necessary; how many are going to turn up to the (probable) mid-week new date? A good deal fewer than on a Sunday I`ll bet.

A Saturday inspection is plenty of time to tell if a game is definitely off, personally I`d like to thank them for saving my time tomorrow, even though I`ve paid for a match ticket and coach travel and most likely won`t be able to get to the game now.

It's the decision of the RFL if the game goes ahead or not. I'm sure the club did all they could to prevent the situation. They will have wanted to play the match as much as we would.

Hopefully the RFL will see sense now and put the game back where it was in the first place.

seriously doubt that will happen as its part of RFL's promotion of rugby in london. basically we've had our pre-season disrupted for the benefit of harlequins and no benefit to ourselves. Now we're going to have the handicap of having to play 3 games in 7 days at some point during the year to add insult to injury. Th only possible benefit to us is that we may have bird and lynch available for the re-arranged fixture.

assuming that the RFL dont cancel the many fixture and put us back on in round 2 then the only fair thing they could do is allow the bulls to nominate when we play the fixture so we get to play a mid week where we dont have tough games either side. You watch them make us play it between leeds and saints or similar though

doesnt help that its the 2nd year running that our pre-season has been disrupted by a WCC that we arent even involved in

What are the Giants doing tomorrow? Expect it too short notice to squeeze in a friendly now though?! Don't they have under soil heating?

tbf don't think odsal's playable at moment either and I'd imagine its too short notice to arrange stewarding, policing, bar staff etc.

quick look at fixtures suggest between round 14 and 15 would be the preferred mid week from a bulls perspective. Salford on the friday followed by wakey on the sunday so we have 4/5 days between games and two teams who we should be beating either side.

So one or two people would rather the game be called off tomorrow morning when most of the Bull's support will already be on the motorway?

Well I won't be going down mid week. And if they do re-arrange it for mid-week I won't be booking any weekends in London for future fixtures either. I think we've be pretty flexible by allowing the fixture change disrupt our preparations already. I would expect the club to stand firm and insist the match is re-scheduled on the date it should have been played. Harlequins will have to field their reserves, unfortunate but it is only a warm up game.
