I do wonder about finances. I don't know anything, but if you were Green why wouldn't you walk??

All I know is the last home game they called the turnstile staff up the night before and told them they are no longer need. It's now the security stewards that do the turnstiles aswell. Saving bit of money there.....

Certain sections of our support are accusing him of only caring about taking the freehold back from the RFL so he can line his pockets. The two things seem incongruous to me but it is worrying that people are turning against the guy who is probably the major reason why the club still exists!

That's correct. The new security stewards (Green's firm) were in operation for the first time today.

From what I understand the savings are minimal. You must question the ridiculous amounts of money going to the players that have been binned behind the scenes.

The club won't have budgeted for the expense of dismissing Lowes and then finding a replacement.
If he resigns (I don't think he will) then there would still be the dilemma of who to replace him with at either the same salary or lower. Any coach currently contracted elsewhere (Morrison, Marshall) will be off the table because again, we won't have budgeted for paying any fees.

Mr Green will have to find the brass from somewhere, remortgage the gaff in Alwoodley or summat. It's the only way he has any chance of protecting his interest in Bradford because without promotion the decline will be terminal (and with Lowes as coach promotion is about as likely as Red Rum running in Saturday's National). It really is $h!t or bust, roulette wheel stuff.
