A wins a win. Confidence fragile. Hopefully we'll get another win on Wednesday and build some much needed confidence for Batley. Attitude needs to start improving though.
Sounded like Charnock did well.

Charnock did ok. His positives were that he actually put in some fairly good kicks and forced a repeat set on a couple of occasions, and he also came up with a great individual try towards the end. On the not so rosy side he coughed up possession a couple of times from passes that were dollies.

In my opinion Welham had a great first half, and nobody really stood out in the second half. Ethan Ryan did well today. They targeted him with the bomb in the second half and he dealt with everything. I also noticed that he doesn't get bullied in the tackle, despite his size or lack thereof.

I was concerned that our heads dropped in the second half. Smith has a job on coaching that out of them. Also, Workington's forwards ran through us in the second half, and when we ran at them they repeatedly drove our man back the distance he ran.

Way too close for comfort. Big improvement needed. Sounded like new lads settled in well and lauaki had another good game.

It's going to take some major surgery on the squad and a decent pre season with Smith to get us back on track IMO.

Well Smith certainly has his work cut out for him. Bradford have gotten themselves into the position where we can no longer afford to drop any points if we want to make the middle 8s.

Hopefully adding Moss and Charnock will improve the team and we'll see them settle in to the side quickly. Interesting listening to Mick on BCB that Charnock has the option to extend beyond the initial month as well as plans to bring in 2 half backs from down under

I didn't go and found that comment interesting that Charnock was temporary till the two halves arrive from Aus. It sounded like a definite rather than a wish for two halves. If it is two arriving there must be one leaving.

Why on earth anyone is still even mentioning the 8s is beyond me, we just had to resort to a DG to scrape a win against the bottom club, if you genuinely believe this lot could make the MPG - let alone WIN the MPG - please send me some of whatever substance you're on as i don't know of one hallucinogenic enough

Priority has to be just scrapping our way into that 3rd or 4th spot so we make the middle 8's. Then it's a completely fresh start and I guess less expectation on our players than last year. Finishing out the top 4 doesn't bare thinking about from a financial perspective.

Didn't hear all the commentary as I was multi tasking preventing a toddler destroying the house but I'd take it with a pinch of salt if it was from BCB?

Because if we don't make the 8s the implications on this club don't bare thinking about.

At this moment in time we're more likely to finish bottom of the 8s than MPG. But we all start on zero points so maybe it's a fresh start. We have good players who simply aren't playing well. We've a better team than the 1 that played in the MPG. They just have to start playing well.

I don't think we have much chance of promotion this year. But i'd like us to finish strongly to take in to next year and rebuild under Rohan.
