Hobbo is a fan doing the summarising role for free. If you want someone more professional, best to speak to BCB about paying for someone to do it. Otherwise, you get the local version of Sky's Fanzone. Personally I don't mind it, as he's only saying what most of the fans on the terraces are saying, whilst Mick offers the more sensible unbiased balance, but I appreciate it's not for everyone. He certainly isn't the most biased commentator on the radio though, have a listen to Radio Humberside one time if you want a true eye opener.

that Lloyd chap with the funny name is unlistenable on Humberside.

Blunderside is the most biassed commentary ever, imo - they don't even commentate when the opposition has the ball and only mention the game if some Hull player puts in a decent tackle. When the opposition score it's only mentioned in the context of some Hull player missing an easy tackle/ being out of position/dropping the ball etc.

Let's be honest, we expect local radio to be a little bit biassed. It puts them at one with their listener, who is overwhelmingly most likely to be a fan and will be happier with the commentator seeing the game from their own pov. There are limits though...
