Ross Oakes has narrowly missed out on selection for this weekend’s game, as the centre, sponsored by Geoff and Maureen Hammond, is on the brink of recovering from his ankle injury.

I personally don't believe it. Everyone knows only Wigan have injuries.

There is no estimated time for the props return, although the injury is not serious.

That doesn't even make sense (what's new with our website?).

Until they get rid of the useless sack of excrement doing the media side of things for the club, I've lost hope of it ever making sense. Perhaps he's out of medical equipment like the players the other week, so it's hard for them to assess it.

Beattie mentioned some knocks for the bash so I reckon they are not being risked if they are not 100% which is exactly the right call. It's just our luck we play outstanding with a full strength squad vs KR with little chance of winning and when we get to a 'winnable' game the injuries bite

I would assume most of the injuries are pretty serious rather than just knocks, as this weekend's game is absolutely the time to take risks. It's a much bigger game than last weekend, and our biggest game of the season so far.

If anyone had a knock before the Hull KR game, i hope they weren't risked for that game.

Bookies giving Dewsbury a ten point start. Its all about our concentration and how we react in our heads in this game.

It will be a tough horrible probably even grubby game. They'll be times when errors, plays and decisions go against us. We cannot let our heads drop just because we go behind at some point.

The problem was, he didn't have his first scan until Wednesday evening. So even the player didn't know for certain until then. But you put your guess on here on Tuesday. Now it is either a serious injury or a non serious injury. And even a fax fan will be right half the time on a 50:50 guess.

But from Wednesday evening onwards, the news will start to drift outwards, the players, the staff, their families etc so you may have heard something on Thursday I suppose.

If it's an ACL, the player will know without having to wait for a scan. So he may well have suspected on Saturday.
