I'm amazed at how many people still think we will be ok just because we’re Bradford and we won the Super League in recent memory.
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after we raised half a million in 2 weeks – we weren’t
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after we went into admin the first time – we weren’t
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after we had half the Sky money for two seasons – we weren’t
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after we went into admin the second time – we weren’t
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after a six point deduction in the only season where there was straight relegation for finishing in the bottom two for the best part of a decade – we weren’t
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after we got relegated and we’d go straight back up – we didn’t
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after we failed to make the top 4 this season – we weren’t
People thought we’d be ok because we’re Bradford after we went into admin for the third time and we’d definitely find a buyer – we didn’t
People NOW think we’ll be ok if we go in the Championship with no players and a month’s notice just because we’re Bradford. Anyone want to hazard a guess at what might happen now based on the previous trend?
Granted not everyone thinks this way, but I’ve had enough of the drivel that we’ll be ok because we’re a formerly (key word) big club. You can slap a Mercedes badge on a clapped out written off 2003 Skoda if it makes you feel better, but it doesn’t mean it’ll get you to work on time.
