and yet Nigel Wood hasnt been in charge of the RFL 'for years' this will be his 2nd full season in charge. Weird huh.

The SL clubs voted on reducing the size of the league to allow the new structure and only then after Nigel Wood said the new structure would be put in place regardless as the SL clubs only controlled the number of clubs in the league not how they got there,

and also only after walking out of the first meeting so that there wasnt sufficient quorum and publicly making their feelings known,

and only after they were bribed with free money

and actually only 12 voted as Bradford werent given a vote, and last minute politicking convinced Les Catalans to abstain.

and actually despite being announced as unanimous it is public knowledge only 7 voted in favour (including Wakefield who were represented by Kath Hetherington who was 'recommended' as a consultant to them by the RFL) and 5 against.

Yeah, lets not forget just how in favour the SL clubs were.

I said incompetant, I didnt mention being in charge of the RFL

He wasnt an incompetent accountant. When Richard Lewis kept him in line he did an ok job even if he did have some silly ideas.

SL clubs didnt vote for it, some of them did. Not even a majority of them did.

That isnt how you meant it though is it, you were suggesting they in some way instigated it, or had forced it into happening

MR Wood put it to the clubs including the extra financial input, it was hardly surprising they voted for it, when's the last time the SL clubs voted against getting more cash?
