There's no need to put batteries in anything mate.
The problems you're experiencing are due to us calling the game on the opposite side from where the camera is situated.
At Odsal we're based in the main stand but the camera is filming from the Northern terrace. It was the same at Oldham last night, the camera filming the action was on the opposite side to the press benches.
I've asked the club if they're going to paste our commentaries over the footage for Bulls TV that we should at least call the game from the same stand as the camera.
Unfortunately this isn't always feasible, hence why I'll be saying "O'Brien, brought down 10m out and 10m to the left hand side of the posts" which is a true statement from our view point.
However, if watching from the camera filming side it would be "O'Brien, brought down 10m out and 10m to the right hand side of the posts."
Well said Mick; this was explained at start of Worky Match. I congratulate you on your BCB commentaries which are the only way to follow Bulls if one cannot get to the game. You provide the facts, atmosphere, information to a very good standard.

Cheers for the kind message.
I'll probably mention it again on Sunday, so Dennis understands that the ISDN line we use is in the main stand - opposite the camera.
If the club can move it to the Northern terrace side and move us in the old Sky TV hut then we wouldn't have this problem.
Anyway enough talk of cameras and commentary, haha.
Surely if he's to the left of the posts, he's to the left of the posts, regardless of what side of the pitch you're on?! Maybe you're referring to things as being on the 'far side'?
Very true. Just another example of our resident Mick Shooting him self in the foot. Its sad that he hasnt a clue It happens ever week!!
I dont understand all the abuse Mick gets, he is doing us a service which we most likely wouldn't have otherwise.
May not be perfect but who is, something that helps fans who cant travel for various reasons, I think he is doing a commendable job with Hobbo, both tbf are no worse than the team from sky.

Agree, especially considering the vast improvement in the commentary this year (no disrespect intended to JP last season, who I also thought did a good job). The facilities these guys have as some places to broadcast is laughable - are lass noticed them both at Workington sat in the main stand instead of a media box! Considering that, and the rumours that they do it for free, I think we should be over the moon with the service we get. Especially those who live away and can't make every home game.....

Usually make most games living in Manchester but away games can be a pain sometimes, so always good to hear whats going on.

^^ This. People who complain about the service community radio (and the presenters who are doing it off their own bat) provide need to get a grip. Or just not listen.
