Johnson, Putin, Trump. And an increasing likelihood of one of the Le Pennes in France.

Not exactly the team-mates you would choose if you were going on Eggheads...

The reaction from the champagne socialists has been despicable. Calling everyone who voted Leave a racist, misinformed, uneducated, the list goes on. They should be ashamed of themselves. It seems they don't have a clue what democracy is.

I'm not a socialist at all, I'm a disenfranchised Liberal Democrat. And with absolute certainty can say those that voted to leave fall into one or more of those categories.

I fail to see why it's somehow undemocratic to think 51% of you are cretins. Democracy is about allowing people their say, not about agreeing with them.

I wasn't referring to you individually, sir.

It's also very undemocratic to spit one's dummy out when things don't go one's way. Now is the time to stick together, not continue to sling mud at each other.

I'll try and remember not to hate the relevant people when I'm out of work.

(For anybody who wants to call me a scaremongerer, you will need to explain what it is about my evaluation of my personal situation that is wrong.)

Democracy is about agreeing or disagreeing. Not insulting people with petty insults just because they have a different opinion to you.

Sadly respect has gone out of political discussions as too many people cannot accept that others have different opinions to them and then start trading petty insults.

I've just had to explain what scaremongering is to someone who accused me of it.

You see when you are saying things bad may happen thats scaremongering, but when you show someone the 10% fall in the FTSE in the first 10 minutes of trading today thats not scaremongering, its fact. And it IS scary.

He then called me a bigot.

I realise you were talking generically. I was just pointing out that the remain voters are a broad church not exclusively "champagne socialists".

I still don't quite follow why it is undemocratic to disagree with a democratic decision. For example, I believe that democracy is absolute and every person has a right to be heard. On that basis I firmly believe that the BNP and other right parties have a democratic right to stand for election.

It is equally my right to consider those that subsequently vote for them to be muppets. There's nothing un-democratic about that.

No it isn't. It's about allowing everyone in society a voice. Agreeing or disagreeing has nothing to do with it.

Yeah I do agree on the whole, I think Bull Mania articulated it better than I did.
