HKR didnt put 60 past us - I cant believe that one day I'd see that as a positive - but today it is.

Well done all the lads - we knew it would be a loss - but putting 24 past HKR (plus the denied 4 pts) is a good result.

Happy enough with that. 90% completion rate according to commentary. Think there's plenty of improvement in team as they get more gametime together. Still need some experienced forwards to bolster us. Mention on radio of Lowe being in NZ recruiting and two experienced overseas players on way.

I posted before the game you brought about 7-800 but I'd say it was nearer 1200 good effort thought lilley was excellent for you

Well I for one am extremely happy with that result. As I said before. A youthful team with a few academy lads in there. 4 players who were new and a halfback partnership who have probably had 1 or 2 sessions together. I am happy. Expected to lose by 50-60 today not 30!

Apparently there could now be up to 5 new faces for next week.
