Probably wise, HC. How long can these visa clowns spin out what should be a straight forward wave through application? Is it Parkinson's Law? Had Tonga stayed at Leigh for the season and gone to Bradford on loan there would have been no quibble. Are these red-tapers as unfit for purpose as the Red Hallers?

Don't know how it all works but if Tongas visa issue is sorted will he be able to play tomorrow? Would the deadline have been missed or will Fat Nigel and Co give the Bulls special treatment again

his player registration is a RFL rule and will have been done when he signed. His visa is a legal requirement which blocks him from playing. As soon as it arrives he's free to play.

You mean they might fine us, deduct 12 points from our league standing then make us play HKR 3 more times this year? That sort of special treatment?

Is that the same RFL ruke that allowed us to register Iestyn Harris and start this whole sheitstorm.

Depends. At the end of the day there's still not a lot of FT teams outside SL. If we're still offering him FT employment as a professional rugby player, he will probably take it no matter which league we're in at his stage of his career

Looked decent in his first run out. Couple of good touches, decent step to break the line twice. Daft pass to the winger/touch judge but all in all an improvement on Mendeika.
