I apologise for my negative reaction to the signing yesterday, he will be good for us i'm sure.
What I personally find from loanees however is they aren't 100% committed to the cause as they don't really want to be there.

The Gravity of what an absolute state we have been left in has just about hit home..

I hope the cavalry does arrive with regards to players, and also a hand is played that nobody has seen yet with regards to investment.
The new owners aren't getting Odsal so there must be something else afoot?

OK. I am now going to have a quick stir. Has Toovey actually put pen to paper and if so does anyone know how long a work visa should take?

I'm sure that is the case with some players, but I wouldn't tar them all with the same brush. As an example, Jay Pitts came on loan to us from Hull in the season we got relegated and was one of our best players, with certainly no lack of effort.

Its all very cloak and dagger who actually knows anything about anything, there is a team that comes out of the tunnel on game day and plays...
we know that team has a new kit and a new sponsor on it, we also know you can buy season tickets to watch this team.
that's about the full extent of it though,

Re: Re-signings & new coach : Thu Feb 16, 2017 10:10 am
I'm pretty sure sponsors aren't coming on board with their eyes shut and have done some due diligence re the Clubs prospects short & medium term, the off field has been going in the right direction the Academy is also looking to be up and running, the main problem for the first Team as I said previously is due to Toovs not being Head Coach officially and once he is things should get moving. All the speculation on here won't change anything except contribute to a feeling of negativity starting to pervade this forum!

Well Todd Carney got his visa for Salford and how long ago was it announced he had signed for them? The date i can find it the 25th Jan the press release came out.

Seems to be taking a long time

Difference could be Carney signed for a club that is already setup to apply for visas. We are a new company and have to re-apply for necessary paperwork to apply for visas. This will affect tooveys visa as well as players visas.

They were hopeful that Phoenix's paperwork would be sorted in time for him to be over here end of nest week. I suspect they had phoenix lined upto sign pretty much immediately when they took over, hence not offering chisholm a deal, and just delayed announcement a a week or two to boost season ticket sales. So his and Tooveys visaas would have applied for pretty much at same time.

If thats the case then you'd think Tooveys paperwork would be coming through in same sort of timescale so possibly back end of next week. :SHOOT:

Yes he was, definitely.

It's hard to say what happens mentally to a player on loan and it probably varies quite a bit, but surely every player wants to impress his parent club? He can only do that by playing well at his loan club - in any case it's pretty rare for any player who steps onto the field to want to do less than he's capable of, just as a matter of personal pride.

Well someone posted the link from when Utilia came on board as a sponsor or a recent statement from a new sponsor who stated that they had seen the clubs plans and were impressed. Mentioned something about the plans could see Bradford back in SL in 5 Years. Obviously that part is just

Yes he was class in every year he has been with us. Arundel looked at times like he wasn't interested in 2014 but all the others (Mullally, Kaufusi, Williams, Baldwinson etc) were like Pitts in terms of attitude.

Plus look at the Leeds lads now. All giving their everything for the Bulls so far.

Bit of an insult to the Leeds boys isnt it? Why have you said that! Lilley says exact opposite!!! 100% committed and to stay on if not recalled.
