I see some posters are focused on the next owner in terms of continuing support...
I beg to differ here.
For me, its Rohan Smith and the squad who are the keys. (Not saying ownership not important here)
There is no way on earth I am walking out on the setup we have now (from Rohan down) - its far better than it was under Ferres/Lowes...
I am waiting on (a) owner announcement and (b) retention of Rohan's services.
Once they are both confirmed - three member passes will be purchased - regardless of owner..
Cannot see the point in penalising RS and the boys just because we don't approve the owner...
Guess I will be a minority here, unfortunately.
Its funny, when I go and donate my pint of blood, they always ask why it's white, red, amber and black
Agreed, i'll be buying one regardless, mainly because i like what Rohans building and i think we've some of the best young talent in the country coming through. With stability, with the quality of young players we're producing, i believe we can get back to SL.
If Green were to take back control, not only would this season be a write off with a 12 point deduction, many fans just won't trust him to dig into their pockets to purchase tickets, merchandise etc Green obviously doesn't have the funds to plough into us so is relying on the fans to fund us. That's going to be a huge problem when there is no trust there. Anyway i don't see how he can pass the RFL's fit & proper persons test. Mind you this is the RFL we're talking about so expect Green back along with Ferres
I would be pretty sure that IF we emerge from this quickly with a shiny new ownership, then it doesn't really matter who it is, even if Green, or Caisley, or whoever is involved, I reckon for the vast majority, once they see the club up and running again, then they'll pay. I will. On the basis that I wouldn't expect them to release Admin 4 - The Revenuant for at least 12 months so I reckon a season pass would be safe.

Have to say that, if we were ever to become, officially, a feeder club, with no prospects of ever being anything better, then that might just be the one thing which would kill my interest in the club.

Someone asked where it was stated there was a "big meeting" on for today, with ownership announcement by the end of the week... It was League Express....Hopefully they should be nearly there now and we can crack on?

I read that article on Sunday night and don't remember anything about a big meeting. It said they were back in on Monday and hoped to have something in place by Thursday, but I don't recall an actual meeting mentioned.
