I agree. I also think Platt works the goal line far better than Halley and his physical presence would have been an asset today. If Platt had shown the indecision Halley had on the sideline and then knocked on under pressure as Halley subsequently did he'd have been murdered on here. Platt's a scapegoat, as we know, he's done some dumb things, but he's nowhere near as bad as some make out.
