I actually think Gelling could be a decent player, he's a big lad and has plenty of skill and aggression.

Did the WYP buy a load of German Shepherd Dogs from Germany, but when the GSD's got here they wouldn't respond to commands in English?

The 'circus' would pretty apt, wouldn't it? Are we exchanging 'Gerald' for this mysterious Kiwi? Or might he murdered in the club shop?

He strikes me as someone who took up RL about 6 months ago. Plenty of natural ability but his skills are shocking. I've said before that he will not make a top level SL player as long as I have a hole in my harris. He has improved marginally but at 23, or whatever, he is miles off the required standard. It's a toss up who will retire first without ever developing the required RL skills - Gelling or that big, daft Welsh ex-yawnion bloke with stupid hair.

I have been told by a very good source that we are signing *********** who I can tell you has played in the NRL. However I cannot betray my source. So I post this information so that you know that I know; when they do sign, I will be able to say "Yes, that's the guy, I told you I knew". Or if by some chance we don't sign someone who has played in the NRL then it won't be because my information was wrong, it will be because the deal fell through. And because i never named the player, you won't have any way of checking.

What is the point of me telling you that I know this, but cannot tell you lot?

hahaha so true! Pointless posts that contain no info. Would rather see a thread about players he would like to see at the club even if we have no chance of getting them.

I don't mind the rumors, as a supporter it actually excites me that we are still looking for decent players. Fair enough, 9 out of 10 might be 'Joe Tamani' specials, but your always wondering if the next rumor is genuine.

Few have come good so far, I think the Gaskell was mentioned before announced. Carvell was mentioned before the press release, so not all the rumors are false
