One of Haggerty, Olby or Fergie will spend some of the 80 minutes at prop judging by that squad.

I'd say Olbison to prop, he's done it a few times this season and is looking like the "new Langley" to me anyway.

I'm resigned to losing this game and if Rohan wants to experiment with Mathers at stand off then I'd be ok with it, he seems to be having a look at a few more players on the pitch as early as he can. Drip feed in those on the outer and get some running in their legs in case of injuries. Sure it will most likely be a flop but somehow last season we beat Leigh with Purtell in the halves so who knows. I'd rather keep Clare at full back but that does leave the Blythe problem, the guy has just lost it since his serious injury, I'd go Haggerty with Walshaw on the bench.

I've a suspicion Mathers is going to be played in the halves. Did he not play his academy days in the halves? Hopefully he's been working on his passing speed!

He was a halfback in Leeds academy before he got moved to fullback. A very good one too.

Only Fleming as far as I know. League Express on Monday stated Johnny Walker was back with us. And the Fleming deal was done before Clough picked up his injury, so it's understandable.

It does show how desperate we are to not use Lauaki though, even when we're short of props for a game against a big pack.

Judging from the fact the team is very similar to how it was before Rohan, I suspect he's not quite up to speed on his squad just yet. He hasn't even been here a fortnight after all. Likely that Diskin & Walker are still having a heavy input. Although if Mathers does play in the halves, that would have Rohan written all over it, as that hasn't been tried previously.

I guess the reasons for Richie moving to fullback were Burrow and Maguire?

My main worry would be that he's not the most mobile of players these days and neither can I can't see him lasting the full match playing at half. Though I confess, I probably said something similar when Peter Fox stuck Johnny Wolford in the halves... I expect that his ability to give decent ball to the outside backs shouldn't have diminished too much either, so let's hope it turns out to be inspired!

I think, whoever said that if it had been a Lowesy decision then it would have copped some stick was spot on but, I guess, we do have to cut the new bloke some slack.

I'd assume the players have been training for any change to position during the week so I guess Smith will have a better idea as to what may or may not work

Dan Fleming may be back after his month's loan if he's not allowed to play for a long while anyway. He's been charged with 3 different offences from the Leigh vs. Swinton brawl last week (and not charged for 3 other things that were looked at).

I'm just amazed that he showed enough aggression to be accused of such things - he always comes across as a bit of a wuss to be honest

Maybe being on the same team as Josh Barlow has rubbed off on him?

Agreed!

Or perhaps just being on the opposite side to Gareth Hock and the inability to resist punching him.

We should get our first real glimpse of our new coaches tactical nouse today. Jimmy got it all wrong when we played Leigh earlier in the season and he tried to match them in the forwards when their make shift back line was there to be exposed by our speed out wide.

Let's hope Rohan gets it right today.

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

If you like old type radio comedy/ dramas etc listen to //pumpkinfm.com/

Statistically speaking you have a better chance of getting dead the older you get!

Thank god only when you find a religion that passes the truth test!

Are both Teams the same as last time? Also both Teams will be playing a bit differently this time, but there should be a bit of Biff somewhere during the match!
