Same price as last year - to watch a lesser team play in a lower division? wtf?
AC is a true businessman if he can sell this pot of shoite to us.
Has he seen how crap we play - why would anyone choose to buy a season ticket to watch that?
Have I missed something?
What we're you expecting... the guy to be tarred and feathered before being set alight???
The room was very tense before but his presentation, despite not being the most confident speaker seemed to be genuine. Yes heard it before but what do we do? We have to take his word and see what the outcome is.
A lot of sensible things tonight. Acceptance that many part time players are better than the full time ones we can afford/attract. Intention is to put the best team on the field regardless of employment status.
No promises to be promoted but clear timeliness in place as target. Interesting that he believes franchise will be back by 2021. Maybe that is the realistic shut out date for SL.
Glad he said what a few if us have know for months. Graham Lowe in NZ because he had a major heart op and now cannot fly long haul due to medication and health complications. Hope he doesn't become the first real fatality the club claims. It nearly took another employee about the same time but Stu is looking back on form.
Also, RFL and Bradford Council met today to start discussions about future of Odsal. AC believes ground not sustainable unless developed. That's aid he was only one not to bid on condition of the sale of ground. That to me says he knows he hasn't the funds to develop himself and would rather be a partner than the lead.
Overall, I'll take what was said with positive caution and start planning my routes to Bristol, Hemel and Coventry!!!
