I'm pretty sure that JK would have worked it out with KR though and, in the hope that KR don't suddenly find themselves short of halves, I reckon it should be a long(ish) stint. It's better for both clubs and the player that, if he's not in KR's first team then he's playing in the championship and for a team that can offer a sustained spell of games. AKA us.
