It's money I shouldn't really spend with the Olympics coming up .... BUT losing the Bradford Bulls and top flight Rugby League in this city, would mean a massive part of my life being lost in an instant.

Nice one Northern lad! Especially to a complete Tolkien junkie like me, for whom Aragorn has to be THE hero. Now why can't we find an Aragorn of our own here in Bradford?

OK, guess I'll put in my tuppenceworth, shamelessly tweaking Henry V for what I can only hope will be the situation on Friday:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/ap ... sfeed=true £300,000 as reported in the guardian, i am asuming that is just from pledges as i can gain by reading the article Crookes out for up to 12 weeks with shoulder surgery, but with kear coming back every cloud and all that, we cant seem to keep a fully fit squad, ainy should be able to fill crookes spot with a strong centre with lulia next to him he should do great IMO COYB

Make sure the good, young ones are injured ahead of any spell in administration. Won't pass a fitness test at one of the vultures and can stay with the phoenix club.

Beren is arguably THE Tolkien hero, and Luthien the heroin.

Theodens speech at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields is possibly more stirring.

Agree totally on points one and two. Theoden's speech ranks with St Crispin's Day in my books. Always brings a lump to my throat when I read it.

And if you've been to the middle of Bradford recently, its more like the ruins of Osgiliath than Mordor...
