fair play to Halifax for letting him come back. It sounds like he'll be on his way back there for the start of the NL1 season though?

It's unlikely they had a say in the matter. James is Bradford's player and any loan agreement would no doubt have a recall option for the parent club

Courier Sport understands that James' season-long loan deal had no recall clause until May, effectively giving Fax the chance to refuse Bradford's request.

i think it's more a case of Halifax playing ball to keep the good relationship between the clubs going.

Excuse my ignorance but if a player is on loan to another club, who pays his wages? And does it count on the salary cap?

the recall agreement only comes into effect after May. Fax have agreed to the Bulls request to get him back to cover all your injuries at the moment, fingers crossed he will be back sooner than later as he looked impressive on Sunday, he even had a 10 min spell at the end of the game as left centre!

Depends on the terms of the loan arrangement. They can have it either way and purely depends on what the two clubs agree when the deal is done. But if James is being paid by the Bulls then yes, it would count on the cap. If he is being paid by Fax, no, it wouldn't count.

To be fair, while they may regard us as enemies, most Bradford fans aren't actually that bothered about Halifax in the slightest these days.
